Our Aims
The aim of our nursing is to promote in partnership with the resident, the optimum level of health, dignity and independence. We believe in the individuality of each person whose needs (physical, emotional, spitiual and social) are reflected in their ideas, attitudes, beliefs and behaviour. Each individual’s care plan will reflect this aim and belief.
The resident will be treated on an individual basis and given a standard of care equal to that of which we ourselves would expect.
The care given will be planned, implemented and evaluated on a regular, individual basis according to the principles of the nursing process. Nursing care can only be planned, implemented and evaluated by a registered nurse.
All care given will contribute postively to the comfort, promotion and protection of the healthy attributes of the resident and aid recovery where these are absent or deficient. Our nursing care is seen to include preventitive, therapeutic and curative aspects.
